What Would You Like to Find at Oysters & Pearls?

When Oysters & Pearls first began, the idea was quite simple: to create a little corner of the internet filled with things that make you stop, smile and think, “Ooh… I haven't seen that before.”
Not hundreds of almost-identical products. Not endless pages of things you could find anywhere.
Just lovely, unusual treasures — some coastal, some colourful, some a little bit quirky and some that are simply too gorgeous to leave behind.
But something rather exciting has happened…
As Oysters & Pearls has grown, we've started doing more than simply hunting down treasures.
We're beginning to create them too.
Some of the newest pieces have been designed especially for Oysters & Pearls, from colourful tableware and little pocket treasures to characters that seem to develop personalities of their own somewhere between the first sketch and the finished piece.
(We won't name names, but a certain cow, goat and sheep have already become rather opinionated.)
And there are more ideas currently scattered across notebooks, screens and probably several places they shouldn't be.
Slowly, deliberately, and with a little mischief
We don't want Oysters & Pearls to become an enormous online department store.
We'd much rather it stayed a treasure hunt.
That means choosing things because they're interesting, beautiful, useful, funny or just a little unexpected — and creating our own pieces when we can't quite find what we're looking for elsewhere.
Some ideas will make it into the shop.
Some will probably be quietly returned to the drawing board.
And some may turn into something completely different along the way.
That's half the fun.
And this is where you come in…
We'd love to know what you would like to discover at Oysters & Pearls.
Perhaps you've been searching for a coastal gift that doesn't involve the usual anchors and Life is Better at the Beach signs.
Maybe there's something you'd love for your home, your table or your garden.
Perhaps you need a present for that particularly difficult person who already owns everything.
Or maybe you've simply thought:
“Do you know what would be brilliant…?”
Tell us.
We can't promise we'll make every suggestion — we'd need a considerably bigger bungalow for a start — but we'd genuinely love to hear your ideas.
Because the best treasure hunts are always better when somebody whispers where we ought to look next.
So, what would you like us to find?
Drop us a message through our Contact page or come and say hello on Instagram. Your idea might just inspire the next Oysters & Pearls treasure.
