The Curious Sound Society – Retro Bluetooth Speakers
Turn up the music. Turn back the clock.
Meet The Curious Sound Society — three wonderfully unexpected little speakers bringing together retro character and thoroughly modern Bluetooth listening.
Choose your character…
🎺 The Gramophone A little old-world theatre with a modern secret. Behind the wood-effect cabinet and wonderfully dramatic gramophone styling sit two 5.4W speakers, designed to give a fuller, more balanced sound. Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless listening at approximately 8–10 metres, while AUX, TF card and USB inputs give you other ways to play your favourites.
It has an 1800mAh rechargeable battery, charged by USB (DC 5V), tactile controls and a compact tabletop design that looks rather splendid on a shelf, desk or sideboard.
🚗 The RoadsterPart vintage motor, part Bluetooth speaker and — because apparently it wasn’t doing quite enough already — a phone holder too.
Inside is a 5W speaker with passive bass radiator, Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of up to approximately 10 metres, and a 1500mAh rechargeable battery offering around 4–6 hours of playing time. It also supports USB, TF card and AUX playback, plus hands-free calling.
Prop up your phone, choose the soundtrack and off you go. Driving goggles entirely optional.
📻 The Little RadioSmall enough to sit comfortably in one hand, this charming cream retro radio hides a 5W speaker and Bluetooth 5.1 with a range of approximately 10 metres or more.
Its 800mAh rechargeable battery provides around 2–4 hours of playing time, with approximately 2–3 hours needed for charging via USB. It also supports TF card playback and hands-free calling, making it a rather useful little companion for a desk, kitchen shelf or bedside table.
Three little characters. One very good excuse to put some music on.
