The Rather Curious Coastal Mug Collection

Meet three rather curious coastal characters who somehow found their way onto our bone china — a spectacle-wearing lobster engrossed in the latest seaside scandal, a biscuit-thieving gull who is fooling absolutely nobody, and three sardines proving that every group needs at least one friend who is just a little bit fabulous.

Designed especially for Oysters & Pearls, each mug has its own detailed illustration on the front and a continuation of the story on the reverse. Because frankly, once we'd started, we couldn't possibly leave it there.

The Daily Catch Lobster 🦞Spectacles on, newspaper open and apparently there's been Scandal at the Seafront. We wouldn't like to gossip, of course...

The Biscuit Thief 🐦Caught red-beaked with the evidence still firmly in his mouth. The empty plate isn't helping his case, but he continues to maintain his innocence.

A Rather Fine Catch 🐟Three sardines, one fabulous pair of turquoise sunglasses and a string of pearls. Somebody in that tin clearly has ideas above her station.

These aren't chunky everyday mugs either. They're made from light, elegant bone china, with the artwork printed on both sides and a fade and scratch-resistant coating to help keep those rather curious characters looking their best.

Although they are dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing where possible to help keep the artwork looking fabulous for longer.
